Providers can see information on their in-process claims in the Claims In Progress report. Providers should find this report helpful in seeing that their insurance claims have been billed.
To view this report, click "Reports" in the EIBilling.com menu, then drop down to click "Claims In Progress."
The Claims In Progress report lists the claim status (INSURANCE, MEDICAID, ESCROW), the billing status, the insurance company billed, the number of claims, and the amount billed for those claims.
Click "Details" next to an item on the list to see the claims currently being billed to that institution or insurance company. The Claims In Progress Details page lists the child and attendance information.
Click "Billing History" to see more information on a specific claim. This will show the child information, as well as a break-down of the CPT and ICD-9 codes for a claim.
If more than one CPT code is used to bill an attendance, you may see the amount billed broken down with rates by CPT code.
