Frequently Asked Questions Related to Virtual Early Intervention Visits During COVID-19 Declared State of Emergency

Dear Early Intervention Colleagues:

These Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) [links below] provide responses to many questions the Bureau of Early Intervention (BEI) has received about the use of telehealth/virtual early intervention visits. The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYCDOHMH) has provided guidance for teletherapy services, including evaluations, and a sample checklist with considerations to help the early intervention community navigate service delivery using teletherapy.
