Upcoming Changes to the NYS Early Intervention Program System: EI-Hub Update

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone that responded to our survey in December regarding upcoming changes to the NYS Early Intervention Program System! We received nearly 1,200 responses and will be using this feedback to make sure our activities align with the needs of all stakeholders. Some of our key takeaways include:

·         You want to learn more about the change and what it will mean for you (or your organization).

o    Response: Over the next several months, we will be providing more information about EI-Hub, its benefits, and next steps, starting with this email!

·         Many responses cited “time” and “training” as main concerns about the change.

o    Response: We are working to ensure that training will be tailored to your role in the Early Intervention Program and will minimize disruption to you and your organization. More information on training will be shared in the coming months.

·         Many of you want more opportunities to give feedback and engage with us on this journey.

o    Response: We will continue reaching out to all stakeholders to provide information and opportunities for feedback.
