To Assistive Technology Device Vendors:
PCG, as the Early Intervention State Fiscal Agent (SFA), is now processing assistive technology procurement and payments. As an ATD vendor in the NYS Early Intervention Program, you will have a contract to provide assistive technology devices (ATD) to children, birth to three, enrolled in the Early Intervention Program. Payment for ATD will come directly to you from Medicaid, private insurance, and/or the municipality (through PCG) where the child resides. No payments will come from families served.
The types of ATD purchased could include self-help/daily living items such as adaptive feeding devices and positioning/seating devices; mobility items such as orthotics, walkers and wheel chairs; vision and hearing aids such as eyeglasses, magnifiers and hearing aids; augmentative communication devices; and devices to improve cognitive developments such as adaptive toys and switches.
You may have provided these devices either directly to the child or indirectly through a therapeutic provider or municipality in the past. With the new procurement process, purchases will no longer be facilitated through the therapeutic providers or municipalities. We will order directly from and make payments to the assistive technology vendor.
In order to provide services to children enrolled in the Early Intervention Program, you will need to become a NYS vendor. The vendor application and agreement can be found below. Please complete the application and agreement and mail to:
