OMIG posts new, updated Mandatory Compliance Program and Certification Obligation webinars

Note, these webinars replace webinar #23, entitled, OMIG Webinar # 23 - OMIG's Compliance Certification Process: December Annual and Enrolling Providers.

***Those providers who completed the certification process in December 2014 do not need to recertify at this time***

Webinar #24 – Mandatory Compliance Program and Certification Obligation

Description: This webinar provides an overview of New York's mandatory compliance program obligation and the compliance program certification obligation for Medicaid providers. It also provides an overview of the federal Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (DRA) and the annual certification requirement for those Medicaid providers subject to the DRA.

Description: This webinar introduces the form that must be used by New York's Medicaid providers as part of the process when they attempt to meet the obligation to certify that their compliance program meets the requirements of New York's mandatory compliance program law and regulations.
