Safety Net Payment End-of-Year Options
The New York State Department of Health made a one-time payment to billing Providers who requested the Safety Net payment to ensure continued availability of services while transitioning to the State Fiscal Agent, Public Consulting Group (PCG). The repayment of the Safety Net began on October 1, 2013 and must be repaid by July 31, 2014.
We would like to remind you that you have the option of re-paying your remaining balance in full. If you decide that you would like to re-pay your remaining balance before the end of the 2013 calendar year this repayment will not be included as part of your 1099 income from the State of New York for 2013. Otherwise, the remaining balance will be included in your 1099.
If you would like to re-pay your remaining balance please contact the Bureau of Early Intervention, Financial Planning and Policy Section by December 23, 2013 for a payoff amount. We ask that all checks to re-pay your balance are received no later than Friday December 27, 2013.
