New York Early Intervention
Provider Training 101 and 102 Now Offered
This new training will increase
providers’ knowledge on fundamental terms and processes to achieve successful
billing and claim management.
The training session
will cover topics including:
- Listing and defining important insurance related terms
and procedures such as subrogation, EPO, HMO, deductible, adjudication,
remittance, co-insurance, etc.
- Identifying and explaining Revenue Cycle Management as
it relates to the Early Intervention program billing procedures.
- Describing the importance of accurate claim submission
for maximum and timely reimbursement.
- Discussing all stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities
within the Early Intervention program.
- Defining
and explaining important provider setup criteria that allow users to
fully-function within the Early Intervention program.

This second training will increase providers' knowledge on
fundamental terms and processes to achieve successful billing and claim
management by presenting the following:
- Recap the important elements necessary for claim submission to
result in maximum reimbursement in a timely manner

Identify the importance of analyzing Explanation of Benefits from
payees
-
Define and explain to how correct rejections, errors and denials
from payers

Demonstrate how to correctly enter payments and denials according
to the Explanation of Benefits
