Claims Awaiting EOB's

The Claims Awaiting EOB's report is a list of insurance claims 25 days or older for which EIBilling has not received remittance from the insurance company and no EOB has been entered by the provider.  Claims that have been submitted or resubmitted within the last 25 days will not be listed in this report.

To view the Claims Awaiting EOB's report, click "Reports" in the EIBilling.com menu and drop down to click "Claims Awaiting EOB's."




This page lists the claim information, including child name, service date, amount billed, date billed, therapist name, and invoice number.  The insurance company and phone number are listed for the provider's reference.




If providers would like more information on these claims, they should begin by contacting the insurance company for more information on the status of the claim.

Please note that most insurance companies will not have record of claims that were rejected for adjudication.  If the insurance company has no record of the claim, the provider may want to follow the steps laid out in this Knowledge Base article on correcting insurance policy information to confirm that the information listed for this policy is correct.  The claim will need to be resubmitted using the Insurance Pending Claims page.
